The Contemporary Youth Orchestra is holding AUDITIONS for their spring event "A Tour of Love."
CYO Music Director Liza Grossman and local theater professional Jordan Cooper are putting together an Evening of Broadway Magic - centered around love songs.
Everything from golden age classics to modern hits.
They are seeking 4 men and 4 women to sing a myriad of show tune styles. Strong acting and vocal chops are a must!
They are also seeking high school singers/actors to fill the role of an ensemble.
Competitive stipends are available for the adult principals.
No equity contracts are available.

The students (Theresa Dean, Chris Macchione, Karen Rose & Dan Lozinak) are in need of some willing participants to take part in a few short scenes to be presented on the evening of December 2.Auditions will be Saturday, October 21st from 3:30PM to 5:30PM.
They are looking for actors & actresses of all ages - from 20-80 - & the auditions will be cold reads from the scripts.

Auditions will be held Saturday, October 21st at Twinsburg Community Center, 10260 Ravenna Road. TCT is seeking talented adults and students in at least 2nd grade for the upcoming performance. Adults from any community are eligible, but students must reside or have a parent who resides in the Twinsburg School District to audition.
Please arrive prepared to sing a maximum 2 minutes of an acapella song of your choice. You may sing a song from the upcoming show if you wish but it is not required.
TCT is a wholly self-supporting organization and cast members pay small fees to participate. Each cast member pays a $60 fee for the first immediate family member, $55 for the second, $50 for the third, $45 for the fourth, and all others are free.
Audition Schedule: Grades 2-4 at 10 a.m., Grades 5-6 at 11 a.m., Grades 7-8 at 1 p.m., High School at 2 p.m., Adults at 3 p.m.
Auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 23 and 24 at Lakeland Community College in Building D at 7:15pm. Specific locations will be posted in the building.
Auditions for the role of Frank Jr. (between the ages of 11 and 14 years of age) will ONLY take place on Monday and Tuesday, October 23 and 24 between the times of 5:45 and 6:45 pm. This is so they will be out by 7:00pm.
No appointments are necessary. Please: One 32 bar cut in the style of the show. A Sondheim piece is preferred. A strong command of musical styles and vocal athleticism is greatly needed for this show.
You need only attend one of the audition dates. You don't need an audition time. Show up at 7:15 and they will have you sing and then read. We will have everyone sing at one time and then everyone will read from the script.
Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, October 25 between 7:15 and 9:00pm.All Roles are compensated. Sorry, no EQUITY contracts for this show.
