Stagecrafters announces auditions for 13 THE MUSICAL on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 11:00am-2:00pm at the Pepper Pike Learning Center, 32000 Chagrin Blvd, Pepper Pike. Please plan on staying for the entire audition from 11:00am – 2:00 pmAuditions are open to students in grades 8–12. Those wishing to audition should attend prepared to sing 32 measures of a song which showcases their vocal performance and song interpretation ability. An accompanist will be provided for those taking sheet music and a CD player will be available for those wishing to audition with instrumental accompaniment trax. There will also be a dance combination to learn so comfortable clothes and jazz or tennis shoes should be worn. Audition packets can be downloaded at the Stagecrafters page of www.orangerec.com. Completed audition packets must be signed by parents and brought to the auditions. They will provide packets at auditions if you are unable to fill one out prior. The process is very unique in that the whole cast rehearses just once per week on Friday evenings from 7-10 pm. For this production some principles will also rehearse on Monday evenings. Rehearsals will begin October 27th. The production runs February 9-17 at the Daniel B. Ross Performing Arts Center in Avon Lake.
