CALL FOR PROPOSALS
CLE is currently inviting artists and 501(c)3 art/cultural organizations to create site-specific, two-dimensional art design to be placed on the interior wall of Concourse B Ramp with the potential to expand the exhibit to the walls in the Concourse B waiting area. This opportunity is open to all established professional artists over the age of 18 and art/cultural organizations residing in Northeast Ohio. Preferred artists, organizations must have the capacity to design and successfully execute large scale art projects.
Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE)Temporary Art Exhibition Program is a free initiative available to artists. The purpose of this program is to showcase the diversity of arts and culture of Northeast Ohio. Individual artists, cultural organizations and arts organizations are afforded opportunities to exhibit their collections of original artwork and photography in the airport. Submissions are reviewed by an Artists Review Panel and each approved proposal is assigned an exhibit start date based on the exhibition calendar.
CLE is seeking two-dimensional design proposals that will enhance the walls with a distinctive aesthetic experience that will be highly visible and welcoming to the traveling public; and provide excitement and interest for the airport as a whole. The semi-permanent display must meet high traffic standards.
There is no specific theme requested; however, the project should be relevant in some manner to the airport and the Northeast Ohio region.
