They are excited to announce their first in house print show at their new location - Divergent INK: Black & White International Print Exhibition. This show is inspired by the original members show in November of 2014 when Rubber City Prints first opened its doors to educating the public in the fine art of printmaking and sharing its studio services with Akron, Ohio.

This autumn they encourage national and international artists to join together and give the Akron, Ohio community a show that displays diversity, contrast, and individuality. Divergent INK will capture harmony and uniformity within the relative degrees of black and white ink. They hope to link their world of contrast with the subtleties of printmaking in the absence of color. Everyday at RCP they strive for a future that will inspire artists to keep creating fine art and to stand out among others as an individual artist and commit to growing their niche in the artworld. By entering this show you will support the growth of a non-profit, artist-based printmaking community and future residencies and internships for local students.

Divergent INK will be on view October 13th - December 7th; This will be a Juried show, with limited acceptance. Deadline for entries is September 10th by 5pm through email or Google Docs.
