Submission Instructions: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in an art-related field; five years related museum or arts institution experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employee should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize work projects and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

The Director of Community Partnerships will:
-Work to create a vibrant, dynamic and relevant approach to community engagement with the museum's collections, programs, and resources.
-Develop a community engagement strategy and program that will nurture partnerships, enhance visibility, provide access to underserved populations, increase the Museum's ability to provide education and programming to all, and build a sustainable community engagement program.
-Evaluate programmatic opportunities for greater diversity of community participation and work collaboratively with development on funding where necessary.
-Generate an annual community engagement report that demonstrates the Museum's community engagement efforts and impact.
-Create a research agenda and metrics for evaluating and understanding the shifting needs of communities across the city and audiences within the museum.
-Work to build audiences by developing community stake-holders and working internally with Education and Academic Affairs staff to generate promotional and marketing ideas and to build relevant lists of community members.
-Supervise a team of staff who design, manage, and implement community engagement initiatives.
-Participate in programs, events and meetings; assist in cross-functional internal collaborations and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of CMA strategic plan.
-Develop and manage program budgets with the ability to understand and appropriately forecast both expenses and revenue.
-Represent the museum as a spokesperson for our work and best practices within the field and as a community leader

Organization: Cleveland Museum of Art

The Director of Community Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing a strategy that establishes meaningful relationships and partnerships on behalf of the Museum in order to cultivate new audiences, ensure accessibility for all and achieve community participation in the development of new programming. The Director of Community Partnerships will oversee the implementation and management of collection driven outreach initiatives throughout the city and region.
