Submission Instructions: The ideal candidate will bring experience teaching college preparatory curricula and directing student drama productions. Participation in extracurricular school programming, specifically the forensics program, is encouraged. All teachers are expected to engage in ongoing professional development and be actively involved in the spiritual formation of our students. An annual professional development allowance and numerous personal, professional and spiritual growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications:

Bachelor 's Degree in the liberal arts required.

Master's degree or higher preferred

Current Ohio teaching license for high school or eligibility to obtain

Experience teaching college preparatory curricula and direction of student productions, preferred.

Saint Ignatius High School, a highly successful Jesuit college preparatory school for boys in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Fine Arts teacher who will also serve as Drama Director beginning with the 2017-2018 school year. This full-time appointment includes five instructional periods teaching Public Speaking and Theater Arts, one proctoring period and management of student drama productions.  This position is responsible to the Fine Arts Department Chair and to the Principal.
