Cleveland Method Acting (CMA), led by Emmy nominated TV and Film Director Eric Swinderman, is now accepting students for the upcoming 4 week program.
Classes will take place August 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th at 6pm
The recommended age for the classes is 18 and up (exceptions can be made on a case by case basis) You can find more information or register for the class by visiting the CMA website.

The classes are centered around The Sanford Meisner Technique, also known as THE METHOD.

Through the Meisner system, the actor becomes fearless and gains a strong confidence that can be applied to all areas of life. The four week class helps the young actor develop a love for the work, and with this, the ability to survive and work as an actor. Using a series of sensory memory exercises the actor will work on a single piece of work for 4 weeks learning how to look at the work from different angles and explore how the method can help the work evolve into a living breathing scene. This is what is commonly known as "method acting."
