Artist work studio available for rent in the heart of the Waterloo Arts District. Located in the Waterloo Arts building above the Gallery and Callaloo Café, the studio is approximately 150 square feet and rent includes all utilities and free Wi-Fi. This is a creative environment with eight private artist studios and a shared bathroom and slop sink. A back porch provides a nice outdoor space to enjoy the fresh air in warmer weather. The Waterloo Arts studios are reserved for visual artists who are expected to participate in and assist with quarterly open studio events during the district’s art walks. These studios cannot be used as residential spaces but artists have their own keys and 24/7 access. Initial lease is three months and month-to-month thereafter. A one-month security deposit is due upon signing or may be paid in three installments during the initial three-month term. Interested artists should email examples of their work or a website link to firstname.lastname@example.org. For questions or to view the studio, contact Amy Callahan email@example.com.
The Open Studio program allows artists and students access to studio space and equipment, and provides them with an opportunity to create art in the areas of papermaking, letterpress printing and bookbinding. http://morganconservatory.org/open-studio/

On Wednesdays and Saturdays through the month of November, Zygote Press continues advocating for artists and filling the void for resources that provide affordable services and valuable connections by opening our gallery space to our members for documentation/viewing purposes. Members can reserve our gallery space for either full or half days to install works to be photo-documented or to hold studio visits with independently scheduled curators.
