The Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE) understands the unique challenge of working creatively every day, while also dealing with the same financial, technical, legal and marketing concerns many other small businesses face. This artist business group aims to ease that burden for creative professionals, so that they have time and energy remaining to do what they do best. The Arts Network is made up of professional artists and arts-based business owners offering professional development resources, education and networking events, benefits programs and business savings to those in the creative industries.

Mission is to connect aspiring entrepreneurs with free workshops, library resources and local events focused on business development and networking. Designed to help NE Ohioans realize their dreams of starting and growing successful businesses. Workshops include cultivating ideas, creating a business plan, legal aspects of being a business owner, marketing, and resources for funding. Business coaching is also available. Monthly e-mail provides information on workshops, events, and resources that match your areas of interest. Supported by the Cuyahoga County Library and the Cleveland Foundation.

Megan Kuhar is a brand strategist who works with professional musicians and artists, teaching them how to build their brand and find their fans, through the use of social media and marketing technology. Her online course, Fan Finder, walks participants through strategies for branding and organically growing an audience, and she also offers 1:1 coaching for musicians and artists looking for help in growing their online presence.

A committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association; a pro bono program providing legal services to income-eligible artists and arts organizations in all disciplines, develops public law-related education programs for artists and arts organizations, and collaborates with area galleries to bring rotating art exhibits to the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Center.
