Art Farm’s mission is to support artistic vision, which may be impractical, obscure, and independent of commercial recognition—where failing is no less welcomed than succeeding. To offer artists, writers, performers, and others: studios, time, and resources for pursuing their range of expression, for experimenting, for developing projects, but most of all, for distilling the promise and potential of their creative enterprise, while working and living in a rural environment. The Artists Archives of the Western Reserve preserves the art and artistic legacies of premiere Ohio artists. We store their art, have exhibitions for both community and member/archived artists, conduct oral histories, create publications of art, publicize/promote shows and accomplishments of member artists, provide networking opportunities. There are also educational opportunities available through workshops and forums.

Artsy.net is a resource for students, teachers, art enthusiasts, curators and collectors. Artsy offers a variety of additional ways to learn about art and design, and its Art Genome Project maps the characteristics (“genes” as they call them) that connect artists, artworks, architecture, and design objects across history. There are currently over 1,000 characteristics in The Art Genome Project, including art historical movements, subject matter, and formal qualities.

Classes offered are for children, teens and adults. They are visual-art based and include ceramics, watercolor, oil painting, jewelry, encaustic, graphic design, photography and more. 

The Bemis Center for Contemporary Art offers residencies and exhibition opportunities. Their commitment to the belief that exceptional talent deserves to be supported is "achieved by providing well-equipped studio spaces, living accommodations and a monthly stipend to artists who are awarded residencies. These artists come from around the world to work within a supportive community of like-minded people."
