Auditions for "An Act of The Imagination"

Auditions: November 26 and 27 at 7pm possible callbacks to be announced if necessary.
Performances are Thursday through Saturdays ay 7PM and Sundays at 2PM
RUN DATES: 3/13/20 through 4/5/20

Please bring a headshot and resume, if available. If not, a photo will be taken as needed. Please visit to download and print an audition form. Perusal scripts are available for a $10 deposit through Nov. 23rd at the Clague Playhouse Box Office open Wed.-Sat. 1-6pm.

Auditions for "The Producers"

Auditions: Monday, November 4, 2019, 6-10 p.m.
Akron Civic Theatre - 182 S. Main St., Akron, OH 44308
WHAT TO PREPARE: 5-minute increments. Prepare two 16 bar songs of your choice in the style of the show. All songs will be performed acapella. Also prepare a 60 second monologue.

CPT Announces Auditions for Entry Point

Looking to Cast: A variety of performers, diverse in age*, race, physical ability, background, and theatre experience. *At this time they are only casting actors 18 and above.
Auditions: Saturday, November 9 & Sunday, November 10th, 6-9 p.m.
Auditions will be held in the Parish Hall on the CPT campus (6205 Detroit Avenue Cleveland, OH 44102).
Auditions are by appointment only. You can schedule for a one hour slot on either Sat. 11/9 OR Sun. 11/10.

What To Prepare:
Two minutes of prepared material (two contrasting monologues)
Headshot and Résumé

Auditions for Tetelestai's "It Is Finished"

Tetélestai is a musical portrayal of the trial, execution, and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah.  The cast travels to churches and/or schools throughout Northeast Ohio for 8 weeks presenting the portrayal. 

Auditions for "Art of Murder"

Audition Dates: Sunday, November 3 at 7 PM & Tuesday, November 5 at 7 PM
Auditions will be held in CVLT’s River Room.
No appointments are required.
Attend prepared to read from the script.
Headshots and acting resumes are welcome, but not required.
CVLT does not offer union contracts and performers are volunteers.

Auditions for "The Mystery of Edwin Drood"

Near West Theatre holds group auditions in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. No preparation or preregistration is required. Actors of all experience levels are led through multiple improvisational exercises providing every participant equal opportunity to create through word, movement and song. Auditions focus on the creative process, not the product; on working as an ensemble, not solo. After this first level audition, callbacks will focus on individual roles/songs and working from the script.

Auditions for "If/Then"

Additional Auditions will be held on Saturday, November 2, at Lakeland Community College in Building D/The Performing Arts Center from 12 NOON to 2:00. NO APPOINTMENTS ARE NECESSARY
Please: One 32 bar cut in the style of the show. A strong command of musical styles and vocal athleticism is greatly needed for this show.
You need only come to one of the audition dates. YOU DO NOT NEED AN AUDITION TIME. JUST SHOW UP AT 7:15 AND THEy WILL HAVE YOU SING and then READ.
ALL ROLES ARE COMPENSATED. Sorry, no EQUITY contracts for this show.

Auditions for Improbable Players 2019-20 Season

Improbable Players uses theater performances and workshops to address addiction, alcoholism and the opioid epidemic. Seeking auditions from performers in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction for paid acting work. We strongly encourage people of color, LGBTQIA+, Ages 18-40 and differently abled people to audition. Auditions are accepted by appointment only, on a rolling basis.
