Elu Dance Company is seeking professional dancers to take part in an upcoming production titled barefaced- inspired by C.S. Lewis' Till We Have Faces. This dance production will include film portions in which we need visceral and theatrical dancers to perform.
The North Coast Men’s Chorus is holding auditions for their holiday concert on Sunday, September 16th and 23rd starting at 6:00! Please come and plan on staying for the entire rehearsal. Their holiday concert will be presented on Saturday, December 1 at 3:00 and 8:00 pm and Sunday, December 2 at 3:00 pm at the beautiful Hanna Theatre at Playhouse Square!

All roles are available except the title role. They include Princess Fiona, Donkey, Lord Farquaad as well as Dragon and MANY amazing character roles. Role doubling is integral to the process, so all actors will have a good deal of stage opportunity. Specific roles can be found below, although doubling will be tbd.
PREPARATION: Please prepare one musical theatre selection not to exceed 90 seconds. Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Dance calls will occur as part of the callback process. Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time slot to fill out a brief audition form. The Akron Symphony Orchestra announces auditions for a concert version of Leonard Bernstein’s WEST SIDE STORY, to be performed on May 4, 2019, at 8 p.m. at The University of Akron’s E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall.
Initial auditions will take place on September 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 263 East Mill Street, in Akron. Callbacks, as necessary, will be held on September 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
All roles paid. Equity contracts available, if needed. An ethnically diverse cast is desired.Rehearsals will begin in early April, with a few music rehearsals a week, and will increase in frequency the week prior to May 4th for light staging and tech.
