June is a play set in both Juneteenth 1865 era and a modern 2018 Thanksgiving holiday.

Auditions for "Next To Normal"

Auditions: Sunday, December 16th, 2018
Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song that best shows off your vocal ability. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key, double sided, in a three ring binder. An accompanist will be provided. In addition, please bring a current photo or headshot/resume if available.
Principal Callbacks will be held the evening of Monday, December 17th.

Trutek Dance Company Auditions

Trutek Dance  Company, Cleveland-based and Cleveland’s first, professional all female fusion commercial dance company , now in its 3rd anniversary season, seeks to hire qualified technical female dancers for the 2019-2020 season. There are 2  immediate openings for female dancers. Trutek Dance Company performs professional shows in their in house theatre as well as touring this Summer in the Midwest and the South (including South Carolina & North Carolina) In addition to performing,  company members will teach classes & perform educational outreach.   The company works with highly acclaimed choreographers from New York and Los Angeles throughout the contract year.

Auditions for "Mamma Mia"

Auditions for the REGIONAL COMMUNITY THEATER PREMIER are fast approaching!
Auditions will be held at Olde Towne Hall Theatre, Sunday and Monday, Dec 16 and 17 at 7PM. Callbacks will be held Thursday, Dec 20.
Please bring your resume with photograph and prepare a song of your choice: sheet music or tracks are acceptable. You’ll also be asked to learn to short combination by Heidi so wear comfortable clothing.
Show dates are February 15-March 9 with only one matinee on March 3.

The Dancing Wheels Company, America’s first, professional, physically integrated dance company, is currently seeking to hire qualified male and female dancers for the 2019/20 season. There is an immediate opening for a male dancer and a wheelchair dancer*. The Dancing Wheels Company is a national touring company that works with highly acclaimed choreographers each year. Most recent works include full-length pieces from Donald McKayle, Dianne McIntyre, Nai-Ni Chen, Christopher Fleming, Michael Uthoff, Peter Kalivis, David Rousseve and David Dorfman.

Auditions for "Guys and Dolls"

Rubber City Theatre is holding follow up auditions for 2018/2019 mainstage season production of Guys and Dolls. We are casting local non-union actors. Audition appointments are by appointment only.

AEA contracts: No AEA contracts for Guys and Dolls.
Non- AEA contracts: Adult Non-AEA Contracts will pay $75 - $100 stipend, depending on role.

Preparation: Please prepare 32 bars from a musical. You will be auditioning for Dane CT Leasure, Artistic Director of Rubber City Theatre (director of Guys and Dolls), Sarah Bailey (Choreographer), and Sharon Alberson (Music Director). Please bring two copies of your most current headshot and resume.

Video Auditions: We will be accepting video auditions through 12/22. Please record one musical theatre song of your choosing and send with your headshot and resume to casting@rubbercitytheatre.com.

Auditions for "Charlotte's Web"

Workshop Players Theatre is looking for 14-16 cast members for this special and unique children’s tale. There is an opportunity for multiple roles in this show. Some puppetry work will also be used. Imagination, character voices and creative stage movement will be required.

Auditions for "Brighton Beach Memoirs"

Auditions: December 10 and 11 from 7 PM to 9 PM. Auditions will involve reading from the script and a short memorization exercise. 
Auditions will be held at the Haddad Theatre, 144 Broadway St, Medina, OH.
Park in the rear of the building. The theatre is on the second floor.

Auditions for "A Clear View"

Independence Community Theater will be holding auditions for their upcoming show “A Clear View,” which is a series of three one acts directed by Ian Howard and Celia Lupton. They will be held at the theater, 6652 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio.
Auditions will be Tuesday, Dec. 11 or Wednesday Dec. 12 at 7:00pm. Please sign-up for a day by emailing ictohio@gmail.com.
They politely ask everyone to arrive at 7:00pm on either day so they can group you up, let you study the lines, and then they will call you up to the stage. If you can't make either of these days and you want to audition you may email ictohio@gmail.com and you can try to work something out.
Audition Requirements: Please bring any conflicts. You will cold read from the script. You may be asked to read with an accent. Depending on turnout they may hold callbacks.

Auditions for "Godspell"

Auditions will be held on Monday, December 10th and Tuesday, December 11th. Located at 324 Cleveland Ave. NW Canton, Ohio 44702.
All auditioners are asked to prepare 32 bars of music in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided.
They also ask that you bring a current headshot and resume with you to auditions.

CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program Auditions

Required Material for Audition Appointment
The deadline for submission is midnight, January 11, 2019.
The uploaded material should include: A completed audition application, a current headshot, a current resume, and a letter of intent detailing why you are pursuing further training and what you hope to achieve by specifically choosing to study with the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program
Two letters of recommendation are to be scanned and sent to Donald Carrier or by mail to: Donald Carrier, Interim Director, CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program, 1901 E 13thSt, Suite 200, Cleveland, OH, 44114. The Letters of Recommendation are not part of the uploaded audition appointment material. They must be sent separately.

The Audition
Each candidate must present two contrasting memorized audition pieces - one contemporary, one Shakespearean verse — not to exceed a total of four minutes. The candidate should be prepared to present additional audition pieces if requested — both contemporary and classical. The candidate may be asked to sing a short unaccompanied song. Auditions for "Breaking Ground: Musicals That Made An Impact!"

Looking for 8-12 talented performers.
There are no union contracts for this production.
ACT does not usually cast understudies and all performers are volunteers.
