Auditions for "Mamma Mia"

Audition Dates and Times: Sunday, March 31st and Monday, April 1st, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
- Callbacks April 4th at 7:00 p.m., by invitation of the director.

Preparations:
- Auditionees should be prepared with their current head-shot and resumé, and to sing a short musical selection (no more than 32 bars) in the style of the show.
- There will not be a dance call on the audition nights - however, be prepared to dance if you are called back.
- Rehearsals will begin April 15th, and typically run on a Sunday - Wednesday night schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Auditionees should be prepared to list any and all potential conflicts they are aware of on their audition forms.
- Video submissions ARE being accepted for this production if you are unable to make the auditions in person. If you wish to submit a video audition, please send the above material to: cassidymammamia@gmail.com

PREPARATION
Present a memorized, one-minute song that is character/objective driven. Songs from the show or other Broadway musicals are acceptable. Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided.
Present a memorized one minute contemporary monologue OR read a selection from the script. Sides will be available at auditions to look over.
Please bring a resume/headshot or a list of experience and picture of yourself.

Imaginos Productions Open Auditions

Imaginos is looking for more talented actors to join their team and perform as costumed characters at parties and events! Open auditions are Saturday, March 23rd from 11am to 1pm AND Sunday, March 24th from 9am to 11am.
They are looking for young, enthusiastic individuals with some experience in acting and performing.
Please bring with you to the audition a resume, head shot, and--if possible--basic body measurements. The audition will include improvisation and lots of movement. If you do sing, please prepare a song (roughly 30 seconds).

Auditions for 2019 Millennial Theatre Project

Looking for actors 18 years of age (must be out of high school) through 40 years of age. Non-Union. Unpaid.

Please note –You can audition & be cast in multiple shows! Some casting restrictions for multiple shows may apply based on the rehearsal schedule.
WHAT TO PREPARE: 5-minute increments. Prepare two 16 bar songs of your choice in the style of the shows (if auditioning for the musicals). All songs will be performed acapella. Also prepare a 60 second monologue.

Ohio Shakespeare Fall/Winter 2019 Season Auditions

Up to three AEA contracts available for each production. All non union actors paid a stipend determined by size of role, length of commitment, and number of years spent with the company.
Auditions will be held at the Greystone Hall theatre (103 S High Street, Akron) on Monday, April 22, 6:00-10:00pm. and Tuesday, April 23, 6:00-10:00.
Auditions must be scheduled, no walk in appointments.
Actors may request an audition by submitting a headshot and resume to tess@ohioshakespeare.com and please include in the subject line: Ohio Shakes Greystone season auditions. Actors may request a particular time and will be scheduled in the closest available slot. Video auditions, though not encouraged, may be submitted to tess@ohioshakespeare.com. When the need arises, we can offer a limited amount of actor housing.
Prepare 2 contrasting monologues, no longer than 3 minutes in total length OR a monologue and 16 bars of a song. (A cappella; no accompaniment for open auditions; accompaniment will be provided at invited callbacks for Rocky Horror only.)

Ohio Shakespeare Summer 2019 Auditions: "Hamlet" and "Measure for Measure"

Open Auditions will be held at Greystone Hall (103 S High Street, Akron) on Sunday, March 31st, 12:00-3:00pm and Monday April 1, 6:00-10:00pm.

Actors may request a particular time frame, and will be scheduled in the closest available slot. Video auditions, though not encouraged, may be submitted to tess@ohioshakespeare.com.

Prepare 2 contracting Shakespeare monologues, no longer than 3 minutes in total length OR a scene to read from HAMLET or MEASURE FOR MEASURE. (Reader provided, scene need not be memorized.)

Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and Blossom Festival Chorus Auditions

Auditions are now being scheduled for the 2019-2020 Cleveland Orchestra and Blossom Festival Choruses. Auditions will be held by appointment only on May 4, 5, and 9.

Audition Requirements
• All prospective members must have previous choral experience and be able to sight-read music.
• Prepared pieces must have piano accompaniment (no a cappella singing). An accompanist is provided for auditions.

For Blossom Festival Chorus:
• Sing one solo prepared piece, approximately two minutes long. Repertoire may be art song, aria, or Broadway, and may be in any language.
• Excerpt from Mozart’s Mass in C minor, which will be provided at time of scheduling.

For Cleveland Orchestra Chorus:
• Sing two solo prepared pieces, each approximately two minutes long. Repertoire may be art song, aria, or Broadway, and one must be in a foreign language.
• Excerpt from Mozart’s Mass in C minor, which will be provided at time of scheduling.

Auditions for "Fisherman & His Wife"

Spark Theatre Company announces professional, non-equity auditions for its upcoming production of The Fisherman & his Wife, to tour Lorain County schools May 6th-31st.
Auditions are open to actors of all types, ages 18 and up. Actors hired will undergo a federal background check through the Elyria Board of Education. Please note: Actors will need to have weekday, daytime availability (school hours) for performances May 6th-31st.

Auditions for "Charlotte's Web"

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, April 30th, and Wednesday, May 1st from 7-9pm
Callbacks (if necessary) will take place on Friday, May 3rd.

All roles are available. At this time, no actor stipends are available.

​All auditioners are asked to come prepared to cold read from the script. We also ask that you bring a current headshot and resume with you to auditions.

Auditions for "Beauty & The Beast"

Auditions will be held Friday, March 29 from 6-9 PM, Saturday, March 30 & 31 from 1-5 pm. They will be held at the Amherst Junior High School in the choir room at 548 Milan Ave, Amherst, Ohio. You only need to attend one audition and are free to leave when you are done auditioning.

Kindly prepare 32 bars in the style of the show with sheet music in the correct key. Accompanist provided.

Auditions for "Titanic: The Musical"

Auditions are by appointment only. Time slots available are as follows:
Tuesday, April 2nd: 6:00PM, 6:30PM, 7:00PM, 7:30PM, 8:00PM, 8:30PM, 9:00PM, 9:30PM
Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre song that best shows off your vocal ability. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key, double sided, in a three ring binder. An accompanist will be provided. In addition, please bring a current photo or headshot/resume if available.
Dance Callbacks will be held Wednesday, April 3rd. Principal Callbacks will be held Thursday, April 4th.

Auditions for "Forever Plaid"

Auditions dates: Friday, Mar. 22, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, Mar. 23 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Actors auditioning should prepare to sing 16 measures of a Broadway-style song (or jazz standard if auditioning for “My Way”) from memory. Please bring sheet music for the accompanist in a binder. No pre-recorded accompaniment or CD tracks. No monologue need be prepared as actors will read sides from the script. Actors should dress business casual (jeans are acceptable, no sweatpants).
All auditions are at Rabbit Run Community Arts Association, 49 Park St., Madison, OH. Auditions are by appointment only.

Because the shows overlap, you can only be cast in one. However, you are welcome to audition for both if you would like to.
