All rehearsals (beginning June 1st, 6:00-9:00 pm) will be conducted at Amherst Junior High School and will strictly follow all COVID-19 protocols. Godspell will be performed July 9th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th, and 18th outdoors at the Vermillion Reservation Amphitheater.

Synopsis: A series of ten scenes set at various locations in the Cleveland area in 2005:“Detroit-Superior Bridge”, “West Side Market”, “RTA Train”, “Legacy Village”, “Cleveland Clinic”, “Tremont”, “Jacobs Field”, “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”, “Lakeview Cemetery”, “The Flats”.
There are 21 male roles and 18 female roles available in these scenes. The intention is to cast a smaller number of actors (preferably less than a dozen), each of whom will play several roles (doubling, tripling, etc.). Ages 21 and older, please. Actors of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. (Those interested may peruse the character list on pages 2-3 of the script, available online at the link appearing below.)
The director will email a Zoom link to all auditioners the day prior to the audition. No recorded auditions accepted. If you cannot attend any of the scheduled slots, email the director (firstname.lastname@example.org) who may schedule a private audition at his discretion, and pending availability. Audition will consist of cold readings, with sides selected by the director. Sides may be sent in advance, but auditioners are encouraged to read the scripts.

AUDITIONS FOR THE ALL-CITY MUSICAL's 2021 production of "A BROADWAY CABARET" are underway now!This will take place on Saturday, June 19th with a start time of 7:00 PM on the Akron Civic Theatre stage. This production will be directed by Mavis Jennings.
This is open to all high school students in grades 9 – 12 in Northeast Ohio. Those that would like to audition are asked to send us a video with an introduction of yourself and to sing at least 32 bars of a ballad AND an uptempo song which you feel suits your voice and personality best. You must use a backing track and not sing acapella. These videos can be sent directly to email@example.com. If they are too large to send then please upload them to WeTransfer and make the recipient the email address above. Please get your auditions in by May 1, 2021.
Announcing auditions for the 2021 Great Lakes Medieval Faire season. The Great Lakes Medieval Faire is gathering a talented group of actors, singers, and performers to bring life to the world of Avaloch Shire!
Auditions will take place Saturdays April 10th and April 17th from 10am-2pm at the Feast Hall of the Faire site (3033 OH-534, Rock Creek, OH 44084). Email firstname.lastname@example.org your preferred day and time. A 15-minute audition window will be assigned to you.

COVID-19 protocol will be enforced for all rehearsals and performances in accordance with CDC and ODH guidelines.
Interested actors, ages 13-21, may submit a video audition through April 9, 2021. Rehearsals will begin mid-April via Zoom. Cast members will be asked to pick up props and costumes at the Broadview Heights Spotlights building. Some filming and recording may be conducted in-person, adhering to appropriate health and safety guidelines.
This audition is for Cleveland Shakespeare Festival's 2021 production of ROMEO AND JULIET. All roles are open and paid a stipend to the actor upon completion of the season.
To audition: film a video of yourself performing a Shakespearean monologue of no more than 3 minutes (comic or dramatic). Upload the video to YouTube or other video sharing service by 12 noon on Monday, April 12.
