Clague Playhouse Red Barn Youth Theater will hold auditions on Wednesday, May 29 at 7:30pm for 2 one-act plays: "Pajama Party" and "A Guide to the Teenage Zone".
"Pajama Party" has 10 roles available for females age 8-12 and will be directed by Richie Lynch.
"A Guide to the Teenage Zone" has 13 roles available for 5 males and 8 females age 12-15 and will be directed by Greg Dziama. Open auditions will be cold readings from the script. Auditions will be held on Tuesday May 28th and Wednesday, May 29th from 7-9pm
All auditioners are asked to attend prepared to cold read from the script. They also ask that you bring a current headshot and resume with you to auditions.
Rehearsals will begin on June 2nd and typically run Sunday through Thursday evenings. Performances: July 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th at 8pm and July 14th at 2pm

Playwrights Local is casting for the world premiere production of Live Bodies for Sale, a new play by Cleveland-based author Christopher Johnston. This documentary-style work captures the human trafficking crisis in present-day Ohio, presenting monologues and scenes derived from interviews with real-life survivors, advocates, law enforcement officers, and legal sources. The production will open in November 2019 and will be directed by Terrence Spivey, Scene magazine’s “Best Director” for 2017.
All openings are paid, professional positions compensated on the non-Equity scale.

Inlet Dance Theatre will be holding auditions for our upcoming 2019-2020 season. They are looking for professionals and students who are teachable, willing, and able to assimilate into Inlet's organizational culture and aesthetic. Inlet is a modern dance company with a technical base grounded in Hawkins-based release technique, Pilobolus-based nontraditional partnering, and a collaborative creative process that relies on improvisation skills. Inlet is equally strong in education programming as it is in performing concert and special event work. The company seeks highly skilled dance artists with a desire to educate as well as perform.
PREPARATION: Youth must prepare a 1-2 minute performance (monologue, poem, dance, rap, song, etc.)
