Call for Auditions:

Improbable Players is seeking performers in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction for paid acting work. We strongly encourage people of color, LGBTQIA+, Ages 18-40 and differently abled people to audition.

Improbable Players uses theater performances and workshops to address addiction, alcoholism and the opioid epidemic. Our performances are 25-45 minutes long followed by a talkback/Q&A. Our workshops give students the space and tools to combat social pressures and find coping strategies that work for them. Our plays are based on true stories and performed by people in recovery. We have touring troupes in New England, New York, New Jersey and Cleveland, OH. Performances take place in traditional theater settings, as well as at conferences, treatment centers and community events across the country.

Auditions are by appointment only. To reserve a spot, please email Karen Snyder at karen@improbableplayers.org
