In 2017 Indy Parks completed a master plan for the 800-acre Riverside Regional Park, which will guide the development of the park over the next 20 years. While the plan will have a long lifespan, there will be projects identified that can allow improvements to begin as soon as possible. Indy Parks is ready to begin a project which is focused on furthering the transformation of the former Riverside Golf Course into an adventure park at Riverside Park. This 200-acre section of the Riverside Park is located within the area of White River Pkwy to the east, Cold Spring Road to the west, I-65 on the north, and 30th Street on the south. This project will be an opportunity to transform this area from a single use into a park that serves a larger community with a wide variety of activities and uses.

Applicants are highly encouraged to visit the location and to learn about the history and context of the site and neighborhood. You can find out more by reviewing the Riverside Regional Park Master Plan.
