Front Street’s ‘Life in the City’ exhibit strives to showcase original artwork from artists all over the U.S. who are inspired by urban architecture or modern urban lifestyle. The spectrum of submissions may range from the straightforward presentation of a photograph to conceptual pieces that distill the hustle and bustle of everyday city life into a single, abstract image. For this call, Front Street is looking for entries of recent art made by artists currently working in any region of any state, fitting the exhibit’s vision.
‘Life in the City’ will be curated and juried by Nicholaus Arnold, gallery coordinator for the University of Dayton and co-director of The Blue House Gallery.
