Ohio Prison Arts Connection is a coalition of people committed to working together to building arts access for people in prison and re-entry, and to creating spaces for storytelling, resource-sharing, and dialogue both inside and outside of prisons.

OPAC exists to promote the transformative power of art and increase access to arts engagement and experiences for all people engaged in the carceral system. In order to work toward these two goals, we collaborate with corrections and court personnel, public officials, re-entry professionals, funders, artists, teachers, community supporters and family members.

Share your story.
We are working on building an archive of advice, stories, and best practices so that we can build toolkits for artists, program facilitators, and more. As we work, can you take just a moment to share a bit of your story? (This is an invitation for all of you - no matter what you do!) Make a 60-second video to tell us about the art you make, the programs you facilitate, or your experiences collaborating on creative projects. Send us your video, through the GUIDELINES LINK above. It does not need to be fancy - just use your phone! We want to hear from you!
