Playhouse Square is looking for a self-motivated, outgoing individual with strong database management, and a service-oriented disposition to take on our exciting position of Director of Ticketing.

Responsibilities include:
-Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department.
-Oversee and have expert working knowledge of all aspects of the ticketing system and third party integrations, services and relationships; identify industry trends, actively research and introduce new tools and third parties to help deliver growth and support our needs and vision.
-Manage the financial needs of the department, including budgets, contracts, requests for proposals and payments.
-Manage integration and internal introduction of new features, tools, systems and procedures.
-Conduct consistent cross training with ticketing team to build redundancy and expertise in all areas.
-Operate with a service mentality to all departments, resident companies and users to advocate for their needs and locate tools to support their objectives.
-Trouble shoot, find solutions and act as primary liaison between the system and third parties, collaborating with departments and internal users, delivering upon their needs and seeking their input.
-Build and manage third party external client relationships.
-Create and maintain consistent needs assessment and training for all system users, departments and resident companies; meet regularly with users to fully utilize existing system resources; provide helpful documentation and support the needs of each user.
-Act as advocate and assure quality control over end user experience; includes visual appearance of ticketing pages, logic of placement, purchase flow, confirmations and invoicing; develop a process for thorough testing and feedback, evaluation, reporting and strategic rollout of new features.
-Direct the ticketing function, staffing and budgets for all box offices; work in conjunction with sales and service leadership on guest services work for all box offices.
-Write, issue and interpret business intelligence reports; evaluate efficiencies and procedures of existing report structure, seeking to streamline, improve accuracy and fulfill the business needs of the organization; create and present written or verbal assessment reports for executive management.
-Support internal and end users during various on sales, special events, and within box office.
-Acquire expertise on all aspects of ticket scanning and manage staff to assure a smooth, event ready and well-maintained system.
-Manage data storage, processes and cleanliness; revisit problems created by previous migrations and plan for future needs.
-Evaluate and continuously improve standard operating procedures; develop communications strategies with other departments, establishing reasonable deadlines and work flows,
-Develop and maintain industry contacts and relationships that prove beneficial to the staff and organization.
-Other duties as assigned.

-Minimum of 10 years management and technical experience in Ticketing within the sports, live entertainment or performing arts industry.
-Experience with integrating multiple systems and partners; working knowledge of AudienceView a plus.
-Experience with data base management, structure and reporting.
-Bachelor’s degree required.
-Outgoing, service-oriented and comfortable working in team environments.
-Flexible, with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment.
-Self-motivated with strong organizational and advance planning skills.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to present at all levels.
