Submission Instructions: Beck Center’s Visual Arts Education program seeks a dynamic teaching artist to lead children (ages 7-12) in multimedia and sculpture projects during our summer visual arts day camps. Camps are 14 days in length for 2 hours daily, with the possibility of extending the teaching opportunity into future semesters for weekly classes. Beck may hire multiple candidates based on their availability. Beck Visual Arts Faculty are also encouraged to submit their artwork in the annual Beck Faculty Exhibition each summer.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced artist with a proven ability to work with students of differing ages and abilities and has strong classroom management skills. Projects presented in this camp may include: painting, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, and other projects according to the candidate’s expertise.
