Whether you're on your third or tenth draft, editing is a key component of producing high-quality work and getting a manuscript ready for submission. In this class, we'll explore tips and tools for editing your manuscript (essay, short story, or selection from a larger work), identify idiosyncrasies in your work, and find our own best practices. The teacher, a writer and editor, will also give you a crash course in grammar basics and share his own process. By the end of four sessions, you will leave with several polished pages and a clear plan for polishing the rest of your manuscript.
