The Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC) is the combined home of the urban design graduate program at Kent State University and the public service activities of the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. The CUDC's professional staff of designers are committed to improving the quality of urban spaces through technical design assistance, research and advocacy. Supported by the Ohio Board of Regents' Urban University Program, the university and private philanthropy, the CUDC offers architectural and urban design exptertise in the service of urban communities, design professionals, and non-profit and academic partners in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

Northeast Shores is the community development organization serving North Collinwood, one of the strongest artist communities in the country. The community includes Waterloo Arts, an organization that creates a stimulating arts environment through quality exhibits, performances, special events and educational programming for people of all ages. Collinwood also has an Entertainment District which is home to an eclectic mix of indie music venues and art galleries. It is the perfect place for artists young and old to launch their career or expand their practice.
North Collinwood has a mix of artists in the craft (7.5%), design (7.5%), interdisciplinary (7.5%), literary (5.7%), music (5.7%) and theater arts (7.5%) – all between five and eight percent of the total. Visual artists are also well represented,, accounting for 55 % of artists in the neighborhood.

Established in 1966, the Spanish American Committee for a Better Community is a response by the Hispanic/Latino community of Cleveland to take ownership of the key issues impacting our community and to provide leadership in addressing those issues. The Spanish American Committee offers services and education in five core program areas: Family Support Program; Early Childhood Enrichment Center; Employment and Training Program; Educational Training Services; Pre to Post Homeownership Program.
