Tremont is home to artists and galleries, award-winning restaurants featuring fine food and authentic ethnic cuisine, boutique shops, upscale housing and rehabbed Victorians, churches, institutions, parks, libraries and coffee shops. Some great places to explore are A Separate Reality, a record store that sells and buys records and Brandt Gallery, which primarily hosts solo exhibits/installations. Some other great Tremont assets are A Christmas Story House, Museum and Gift Shop, Antaeus Dance, Arts Renaissance Tremont, the Liminis Theater home to local theater group convergence-continuum and the Ukrainian Museum and Archives.
Tremont also offers Arts in August, featuring weekend performances by renowned dance and drama troops and the Tremont Arts & Cultural Festival in September, where dozens of artists and musical groups from around the country
showcase their work.

Other artists that account for a significant % of the creative class are found in theater (9.7%), craft (9.7%), design (4.5%) and the literary arts (4.5%).
