West Shore is home to the West Shore Chorale, a non-profit organization, dedicated to enriching lives through the beauty and power of choral singing.

Based on the 2011 “Putting Artists on the Map”, 56.9 % of artists in West Shore are visual artists. Design and literary artists follow with 9.8 %, while theater and interdisciplinary artists each make up 5.9 %. Education artists account for 3.9 % of artists followed by musicians, dancers and craft artists at 2 % each.
